Join the tech movement 

DevTalks Romania returns on June 3^rd-4^th 2026 at Romexpo, B1 Hall. 

As the largest tech conference in CEE, we are putting together the 13^th edition, bringing over 10,000 IT professionals together, with 160+ international speakers and 80+ partner companies in the expo area and behind the scenes.  

Backed by eMAG as main partner and tech leaders like Keysight Technologies, ad/01, Accenture, Epam, the conference unites the people driving technology forward, enabling hands-on collaboration and strategic discussions. 

This year, we are refreshing some of our stages, shifting the focus on AI Product, AI Big Data, Fullstack & Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and Quality Engineering & Automation. Global experts from OpenAI, Databricks, Broadcom, Red Hat are joining us to showcase real-world case studies, architecture decisions, and practical insights – both on stage and in the Roundtable areas.

The 9^th edition of DevTalks Cluj-Napoca 

Starting off the Autumn conferences with DevTalks Cluj‑Napoca on September 24th at CREIC, this edition brings together over 2.500 IT professionals, including developers, tech leads, and engineering managers from across Romania and beyond. 

More than 20 partners are showing up in the heart of Transylvania to put their tech skills to the test on our three stages – Main, Programming, and Java Stage, and in the expo area - with fun activities and exciting tech areas. You might recognize some of the names as local stars within the Cluj community – BMW TechWorks as our main partner, MHP – a Porsche Company, Cognizant, and more. 

DevCon is back with an 8^th edition at NORD Events Center by Globalworth 

November 4^th-5^th is all about DevCon:  

• 6 updated stages -  DeepTech, Java & Go (Go is a stage topic covered for the first time in Romania), AI, Data & Cloud, DevOps, and Cybersecurity 

• 3.000 software developers, IT professionals, C-level executives 

• 30 big names in the industry powering our event – Systematic as our main partner, ING Hubs, ad/01 and more 

DevCon is designed for professionals who want technical depth through hands‑on sessions, real architecture breakdowns, and security best practices — all delivered by engineers and architects who solve these challenges every day. 

Across two days, the focus is on applicable knowledge you can bring straight back to your team, from scaling systems to mastering modern toolchains and emerging frameworks.

Our Autumn tech conferences continue with Empower Tech 

Just two weeks after DevCon, the 3rd edition of Empower Tech will take place at NORD Events Center by Globalworth, on November 17th. A dedicated event focused on leadership, career growth, and real conversations, designed to support and elevate women in tech. 

Empower Tech brings together over 500 participants in a space where career paths, leadership journeys, and industry challenges are discussed openly. From navigating transitions and scaling teams to building confidence, the content is grounded in real experiences shared by people who are actively shaping the future of tech. 

The event is supported by forward-thinking partners and companies that actively invest in diverse teams and inclusive cultures, contributing to a stronger, more connected tech ecosystem. Through keynotes, panels, and interactive discussions, participants gain practical insights, expand their network, and leave with a clearer direction for their next steps. 

Keeping the community connected with DevAfterWork 

Throughout the year, DevAfterWork returns with a series of informal meetups built around open discussions and connectivity. Hosted in relaxed settings, these events are a chance to step away from the usual routine and meet people from the industry. 

Each edition brings up relevant topics from today’s tech space — from AI and modern architectures to product thinking, engineering culture, and new tools — explored through short talks, demos, and honest conversations based on real experience.
