2026 brings you more DevAfterWork events

DevAfterWork is ready to keep the dev community connected, curious, and growing throughout 2026. It started from the need for regular, meaningful meetups within the Romanian tech community. Since 2016, DevAfterWork has been bringing people together in an informal setting focused on quality conversations and shared learning.

Each event is designed with developers in mind, encouraging learning and curiosity-driven discussions that extend beyond the room, and into their day-to-day goals and activities.

A Community That Meets All Year 

DevAfterWork bridges the gaps between our large conferences (DevTalks, DevTalks Cluj-Napoca, DevCon, Empower Tech) and offers regular moments to reconnect. Designed to mix learning and socializing in an after-hour program, here you have the chance to:

• Meet local and international experts in the industry in an informal set-up 

• Explore fresh perspectives on emerging technologies like engineering, modern testing, cloud, telecom 

• Build relationships that matter in your day-to-day work 

Each event brings a curated agenda, tailored to specific technologies developed or used by our partners.  

From talks on automation and AI to sessions on architecture, adaptability, and quality engineering, attendees walk away with insights they can immediately apply. 

DevAfterWork is built for real conversations 

We’re aiming to create more spaces for learning, where our community can engage with leading companies and interact with insightful voices in tech. Whether you are an executive, a professional developer, senior engineer, or at the beginning of your career, DevAfterWork fosters growth.  

Last year, we hosted 7 evening meetups with long-time supporters, as well as first time partners. Speakers from Matrix42, Betfair Development Center, Vodafone Romania, EveryMatrix, Raiffeisen Bank put together demos and interactive sessions, leaving plenty of room for audience questions.
