Gabriel is a software engineer at ING Hubs Romania with over 15 years of experience designing and building distributed systems on the JVM. He works mainly with Kotlin, Java, Scala, and TypeScript and has a long-standing interest in functional programming, domain modeling, type-driven design, and making software easier to reason about. He enjoys sharing what he learns through conference talks, writing, and open-source contributions. Most of his time is spent trying to make complex systems simpler, and discovering that the interesting problems are usually hiding in the edge cases.
