Heya! I’m Pekka Pönkänen from Helsinki, Finland. I’ve been working in tech for over a decade, starting in IT before moving into software development and testing. My main focus has been on native mobile applications, but I’ve also worked with web and desktop platforms along the way.

I’m passionate about cybersecurity and I recently completed a master’s degree in the field, with a strong interest in ethical hacking. I love coaching and helping others grow into better testers, and outside of work, you’ll often find me learning chess, running long distances, or exploring Greece, which has become a special place for me through my partner.

I’m excited to be speaking at DevTalks and to share real-world lessons from Wolt’s mobile release journey!
