Alice Rendell is a Narrative Systems Designer with over 15 years of experience, currently working as Narrative Lead at Off-Leash Interactive. She has worked on a variety of games ranging from indie to AAA, including Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. During her time at Ubisoft Alice helped design new narrative tools for the Snowdrop Engine, including the writing and animation tool GENIE.
When not developing, playing or thinking about video games, you will find Alice curled up with a good book surrounded by her two mischievous felines, Furi and Jin.

Storytelling Through Systems
Alice will discuss practical ways to incorporate narrative directly into gameplay, allowing players to experience meaningful stories outside of traditional deliveries such as cutscenes, dialogue and text.
