Autumn Tech 2026: Three Events You Don't Want to Miss

This autumn, Romania's tech community is in for a season of conferences from Cluj to Bucharest, spanning software development, Cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, LLMs, MLOps and GitOps with deep tech stepping into the spotlight as the newest frontier, alongside leadership. Here are the three events under the DevTalks umbrella, with this year's dates and partners.
1. DevTalks Cluj–Napoca – September 24, 2026, Cluj InnovationPark (CREIC)
Now in its 9th edition, DevTalks Cluj-Napoca is Transylvania's most anticipated autumn tech conference. Across three stages: Main Stage, Java Stage, and Programming Stage attendees dive into the latest trends in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and software engineering, alongside 2,500+ participants and dozens of international and local speakers.

2. DevCon – November 4-5, 2026, NORD Events Center by Globalworth, Bucharest
DevCon returns for the 8th edition as a two-day technology hub, structured around six specialized conferences: AI Con, Data & Cloud Con, DevOps Con, Java & Go Con, Cybersecurity Con, and DeepTech Con. With 25+ partners and 3,000+ expected participants, the event delivers advanced technical content, hands-on masterclasses, and a networking-focused expo area.

3. Empower Tech – November 17, 2026, NORD Events Center by Globalworth, Bucharest
Empower Tech is the event dedicated to women in technology, built as a one-day agenda with an innovative expo area designed as a learning environment. Under the tagline "SpeakUp. Inspire. Lead", the conference features career coaching sessions, leadership talks, negotiation skills workshops, and a fireside chat dedicated to the younger generation in an inclusive setting open to both women and men across the industry.
