What we’re preparing for the 13th edition of DevTalks Romania

As we gear up for the new edition of DevTalks, our excitement is huge. Not just for the chance to reconnect with our dev community, but for all the new experiences, stages, and innovation we’re bringing this year.

From fresh content tracks and hands-on sessions, to unique networking opportunities around new areas and updated access passes, we can’t wait to share everything with you.  

We meet again on June 3^rd-4^th at Romexpo, B1 Hall. During these two days, you will have the chance to connect with industry experts from leading companies, who are bringing their expertise on 14 stages, two roundtable areas, and dedicated zones in the expo area.  

Throughout the two days of event, we are expecting 10.000 tech enthusiasts from our dev community to share ideas and innovate alongside 85+ partners and exhibitors, backed by 160 International and local speakers.

The DevTalks 2026 stages 

For the 13^th edition of the largest tech conference in CEE, we are refreshing the content stages as it follows: 

The Main Stage remains the highlight of DevTalks, happening on June 3-4 and the options are limitless across both days. Speakers will be covering a broad range of topics on AI, cloud computing, data, testing, and the latest technologies. From the audience, you can bring your expertise and strike up conversations with like-minded individuals. 

As for the rest of the stages, on June 3^rd they cover: 

• Java Stage: A full day dedicated to modern Java, with sessions on microservices, reactive programming, performance tuning, and enterprise systems. 

• Mobile Stage: Focused on modern Android development and scalable mobile architecture, the speakers bring share their expertise on performance, UX, and AI-powered mobile experiences. 

• Web Stage: Dedicated to fast, secure, and user-focused web applications, with practical talks on frameworks, performance, and modern web architecture. 

• AI Big Data Stage: Where data engineering, distributed systems, and AI-driven analytics come together to turn massive data volumes into real insights. 

• Full Stack & Cloud Stage: Here, you can expect real-world discussions on cloud infrastructure and building applications that scale smoothly. 

• DevLead Stage: The space where seasoned executives and new leaders connect and share experiences that build technical teams 

June 4^th brings:  

• Future of Engineering Stage: Stay updated on how AI, cloud, and new tools are reshaping engineering roles and workflows. 

• DevOps Stage: Focused on reliability and delivery speed, you’ll master CI/CD, Kubernetes, observability, and platform engineering skills. 

• Quality Engineering & Automation Stage: Covers keynotes about testing, automation, and AI-driven quality to keep software fast, robust, and scalable. 

• Cybersecurity Stage: Practical security talks on protecting apps, infrastructure, and data, covering DevSecOps, IAM, and modern incident response topics. 

• AI Product Stage: Designed for teams building AI-powered products, learn how LLMs and agents are translated into features, workflows, and experiences. 

• AI Stage: Where advanced AI becomes practical. From LLMs and AI agents to production-ready systems, this stage is built for engineers working close to the core of intelligent technology. 

And the first speakers joining the DevTalks 2026 stages are already preparing their materials.

What to do in the expo area 

Beyond our partners’ booths, the expo area this year is packed with new spaces designed for networking, fun, and hands-on experiences. Here’s a look at the areas we’ve refreshed: 

Test My Device  

Try out gadgets and robots in an interactive space built for exploration. 

TechEdu Area  

The ideal place for the little ones to learn tech and play, while you attend your favorite keynotes. 

The Working Lounge  

So you can step away for a quick meeting or get work done, because we know how unpredictable the job can be.

The Mobility Area  

Within this area, you can interact with different cars right inside the venue, where representatives are eager to give you all the specs.

The VIP & Speakers Lounge  

Here, conversations continue off-stage. Connect directly with speakers and join discussions in an informal setting while having lunch or a beverage. 

In terms of what's new, we're excited to expand the DevTalks ecosystem with our Country Partners. We aim to bridge this gap by giving attendees the chance to interact first-hand with foreign markets and create international connections that can grow their careers.

Women in Tech Hub 

As more women in tech are present at the largest expo-conference in the region, we made it our mission to create an even more special area.

The Women in Tech Hub is dedicated to supporting concentrated discussions on industry challenges. With a short format agenda and casual layout, the area backs networking through direct interactions.

The DevTalks experience 

Growing our community is a priority to us, so we make sure to push the boundaries of tech and make each edition bolder than before.

We leverage quality conntent and industry experts to give attendees relevant insights, and experiece partners to make your participation even more interactive.

As part of our dev community, you gain access to early admission tickets and special offers to the different passes we offer.

1. With the VIP Pass, your access is unlimited. Enjoy one to one discussions with the speakers in the dedicated lounge, full access to all 14 stages and roundtables, lunch and beverages included in the VIP section, the expo area and partner booths. 
2. The Premium Pass gives you access to all our stages, including the Main Stage and the DevLead Stage. With it, you can also connect with our partners in the expo area and most of the areas, excluding the VIP & Speakers Lounge.
3. By getting the General Pass, you can attend 12 of our stages, excluding the Main Stage and the DevLead Stage, as well as meeting our partners in the expo area and joining discussions in many of our dedicated areas, excluding the VIP & Speakers Lounge.
